Drapery & motorized curtains in New Jersey.
Glass towers facing the Manhattan skyline in Jersey City, brownstones in Hoboken, family homes in Bergen and Essex counties. Drapery measured and installed.

The other side of the skyline
Along the Hudson in Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken and Edgewater, high-rises are built with floor-to-ceiling glass pointed straight at Manhattan. Hoboken and downtown Jersey City also have rowhouses and brownstones with tall front windows. Further in, Bergen and Essex County towns like Montclair, Ridgewood and Englewood have larger homes with bay windows, French doors and sunrooms.
Why drapery matters here
Morning sun off the river. East-facing glass toward Manhattan gets strong morning light. Motorized blackout panels keep bedrooms dark and open on schedule.
The view at night. Sheers keep the skyline visible while giving privacy from neighboring towers.
Rowhouse windows. Tall, narrow front windows in Hoboken look best with full-length drapery hung close to the ceiling.
Suburban homes. Bay windows, French doors and family rooms need treatments that fit each opening.
When motorized makes sense
Wide walls of glass in waterfront towers are the clearest case. One button, or a schedule, opens the whole view.
